This full-day Professional Learning experience will explicitly offer support and advice to assist Educators to feel more confident, capable and culturally aware.
Using the ‘Building Cultural Capability Framework’, all participants will have time to personally reflect on their own cultural backgrounds, life experiences, bias and knowledge to identify opportunities that will enhance their understanding of First Nations Australians. Educators will learn how to embed 8 ways of Aboriginal Learning and Uncle Ernie Grants Holistic Framework within their Pedagogical practice to confidently demonstrate 1.4 and 2.4 of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (AITSL).
