Design and Technology opportunities to embed First Nations perspectives

After the recent DATTA (Design and Technology Teachers Association) National Conference in Brisbane, I am making available my PowerPoint, curriculum links and ideas of how you can embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island perspectives within this Key Learning Area. Every Learning Area within the Australian Curriculum has the opportunity to embed First Nations perspectives within their teaching and learning. Find out how you can do this by either using Our Land, Our Stories series from AIATSIS and Nelson Cengage or through your pedagogy using 8 ways or Uncle Ernie’s Framework.

World Vision – Reconciliation Week LIVE

Just in case you missed the World Vision LIVE for Reconciliation Week 2020, here I am sharing from my experiences, how to embed First Nations cultures and histories within the curriculum and the importance of connecting with your local First Nations Communities.
