K’GARI EDUCATORS TOUR – OVERNIGHTER – MEN & WOMEN – 7/8 SEPTEMBER 2024

• Departure from Rainbow Beach on Saturday the 7^th of September, time to be confirmed (possibly by 7.30-8 am as the high tide is at 10.32 am)
• Smoking ceremony will be done on arrival at Hook Point on K’gari Saturday 7^th Sept. (This has changed from the original thought to have on Friday night at Inskip – NOTE THE OPTIONAL EXTRA TOUR TO CARLO SAND BLOW )
• Accommodation is in self-contained cabins and bunkhouses at USC’s Dilli Village. 
• All food will be provided and catering managed by the BAC at Dilli Village
• The 2-day program being finalised by BAC and KCT.  Guest numbers and genders will also determine the experiences offered.
• Return to Inskip Point on Sunday the 8^th of September to be confirmed.  Low tide is 5.15 pm and we will have a couple of hours play either side of this time to navigate a return to Hook Point so at present this time is not set but I am hopeful we can return around 3-4pm.

OPTIONAL EXTRA:

• For those staying at Rainbow Beach on Friday the 6^th of September – optional extra activity – Carlo Sand Blow Sunset Session – Fri 6th Sep 2024 – $120 per person for those attending the Overnighter experience, $195.00 for others.

Considerations to be made

• In time you will be asked for any dietary needs, feel free to communicate this at time of booking
• Any health issues we need to be aware of that may impact your experience.  Pete and Sally are first aid trained and we will always have UHF and Satellite phones on us as well as First Aid Kits.
• You will be asked to sign a waiver prior to commencing the tour.
• Do you require accommodation at Rainbow Beach on Friday the 6^th of September and do you wish to attend the optional extra tour to Carlo Sand Blow?
