The 5 Education Workbooks for Cherbourg’s Ration Shed of which I co-Authored, along with the History Book – “On the Banks of the Barambah” won the MAGNA (Museums and Galleries National Awards) for an Indigenous Project or Keeping Place.  Up against such esteemed competition like Queensland Art Gallery – Gallery of Modern Art, the Cherbourg Historical Society Group took out the National honour.

I wrote these Educational Workbooks to ensure that the story of Cherbourg had the opportunity to be present in the Australian Curriculum, offering Teachers an all in one package that enabled them to share the Elders story.  I also wanted to ensure that the amazingTimeline connected with students in the classroom.  It is an absolute honour to be a part of the Ration Shed Museum and be asked to develop educational materials.
